Scents Used in Perfumes

Fresh
These include perfumes that have citrus, food, or earthy tones. These often feature scents like lemon, lime, bergamot, orange, mandarin, lemongrass, etc. They can also be aquatic tones or scents like grass, clean linen, etc.
Floral
These include perfumes that have flowery scent like rose, jasmine, lilac, etc. These perfumes can range from subtle to intense, depending on the floral scent or the blend of floral tones to create the scent.
Oriental
These include perfumes that have a spicy or water tones, they can also be sweet. This includes tones like cinnamon, spicy floral, spicy woodsy, vanilla, cardamom, orchid, orange blossom, etc.
Woody
These include perfumes that have a more outdoorsy tone, like leather, musk, smoky, and earthy scents. They have a more robust scent sometimes, like sandalwood, cedarwood, amber, or pine.
