This book is a must read for all brand new spirit keepers (like myself). It helped to answer a lot of questions I had, that I had a hard time finding in the Forums. Some questions were answered even though I wasn't aware I should've been asking about it. Through reading it three times I felt as though I had a good ground level understanding of what it was I was getting into. After finishing it, I immediately moved into the Advanced book.... more on that in a minute.

Amazing book filled with more tips and tricks than I could count! Awesome advice for getting started, will be looking back on it often.

It's a hard copy of almost everything in the Encyclopedia, minus the pages on specific kinds of spirits. Very useful as a quick offline reference.

For years, I was hoping that someone would write a book on spirit keeping as I had so many questions. Not sure why it took me so long to find out it had already been written! I am still reading it and appreciate the info very much!
