This PDF is a great introduction to Kinetics for beginners. It does an excellent job of laying out the most basic principles of Kinetics in a clear and concise manner. While it may be simple, it is an essential foundation for anyone looking to master Kinetics.

A short and fairly solid overview on Kinetics, AKA "energy flows and using them do do stuff".
